A community where everyone belongs
I believe Simsbury should be a place where all people feel welcome, seen, and valued. During my previous term as First Selectman, we worked to foster that spirit of inclusion by engaging the community in the creation of the Pride Walk along Iron Horse Boulevard—a visible reminder that Simsbury is a place where everyone belongs.
Inclusion is more than a value—it’s a strength. When we create a community where all voices are heard and respected, we tap into the full potential of our residents. That’s how we make smarter decisions and build a stronger town. Unfortunately, kindness and empathy are too often missing in our politics today. I believe it’s time to bring them back. Because leadership isn’t just about policy—it’s about people. And it starts by treating each other with dignity and respect.
